Known as the Brazilian Butt Lift, this is a procedure where liposuction is used to carefully and selectively remove fat from certain areas of the body, and then this fat is purified and carefully injected into the buttocks. How Is The Surgery Performed?

Surgery is performed in a hospital setting, with a certified anesthesiologist present, for your safety and comfort. General anesthesia is utilized.

Liposuction is a procedure whereby very small incisions are made in the skin. Using a tube called a cannula, the fatty tissue under the skin is carefully and selectively removed.

The fat that is removed is washed and purified and then carefully injected into the buttocks. The buttocks are sculpted and enlarged with your own fat. Common areas where the liposuction is performed to obtain the fatty tissue include the abdomen, flanks (love handles), and back. Other areas that may also be considered include the thighs and arms.

Following surgery, patients wear a compression garment that helps reduce swelling from the areas where liposuction was performed and shapes and enhances your new buttock.

Your Brazilian Butt Lift will result in a smaller waist, but a larger and shapelier buttock. Unlike implants or other artificial fillers, using your own fat will feel natural.

It is expected that you will have some swelling following surgery, so that the final result may not be seen until this swelling has resolved. However, you will be able to see the difference in your buttocks immediately following surgery.
